The History of First Electric Annual Meetings

First Electric hosted its Annual Meeting and Director Election at the Cooperative’s headquarters in Jacksonville on Thursday, June 29.
By way of mail-in ballots, a quorum was reached, and Robert Maertens was reelected to the Board of Directors in the Benton district, Position 1 and Brock Brewer was confirmed in the Stuttgart district, Position 1.
The board would like to thank all the members who cast their ballot in our recent election and participated in one of the hallmarks of our cooperative business model – Cooperative Principle #2, Democratic Member Control.
I want to share with you some historical photos from previous Annual Meetings.
The events were held around central Arkansas, where the Cooperative hosted 4-H demonstrations, auctions, talent contests, lunches and business meetings.
